Hometown: Chicago, Illinois

Major/Minor/Certificate: Communication Studies

Extra-Curriculars: Promote 360, Sustained Dialogue, Junior Achievement Instructor

Hobbies: Painting, drawing, writing memoirs, watching movies, playing softball

Favorite thing about NU: Even though there are 8,000 students on campus, I can still find a community that supports me. It's small enough that I can find a home base and big enough that I can meet diverse people with various aspirations.

Fun fact: I went to a boarding school near Boston, MA for high school.

Goals for life: I want a career that makes me happy and feels meaningful. I am undecided about what that is, but it may involve education or writing. I especially want to give back to my community, and hope to actively engage with Chicago's youth.

Hometown: Chicago, Illinois

Major/Minor/Certificate: Computer Science, Spanish

Extra-Curriculars: Alianza, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Institute of Student Business Education Technology Group, Omega Delta Phi Fraternity Inc.

Hobbies: playing soccer, skateboarding, playing video games, drawing

Favorite thing about NU: I enjoy the people I meet at school. At Northwestern I have met some very kind and interesting people who I can rely on for almost anything. Most people will be genuinely nice to you when you first meet them.

Fun fact: Michael Jordan's son attended the same high school I did and was a senior when I was a freshman.

Goals for life: I want to develop my technical skills and professional skills enough so that I can work for a government agency. After some years of working in my field I plan to apply to seek a doctorate degree. I would also like to carry out initiatives that will help increase the number of Hispanic and Latinos students in S.T.E.M. careers.
