For Current Students

Global Wildcat volunteers are critical factor in the recruitment of international students.

To make this program a success, we need international students like you who are passionate and enthusiastic about Northwestern and eager to share their experiences. Student volunteers provide the necessary support for any student to feel acquainted and welcomed at Northwestern. You'll get a chance to connect with prospective and enrolling students from countries all over the world.

To get involved, please complete our volunteer application form.

Volunteer opportunities include:

Skype calls and "Email-a-thons"

These events will occur twice each year: in mid February for Early Decision students and in early April for Regular Decision students. Volunteers will contact the majority of admitted international students to answer any questions they may have and begin to acquaint them with life at Northwestern.

Wildcat Days Dinner

Volunteers will meet and have dinner with admitted international students who attend Wildcat Days to answer any questions/concerns they might have and encourage them to attend Northwestern. Wildcat Days occur the first three Mondays of April.

Take Northwestern Home

Volunteers will "take NU home" over school breaks. Students will arrange meetings with their high school counselors to meet with current high school students to share their Northwestern experience and enthusiasm.
