Northwestern is an inclusive and diverse community where students excel individually and collectively. 

Key resources include International Student Affairs and Multicultural Student Affairs. The Office of Undergraduate Admission provides additional information regarding  deadlines and other requirements for incoming first-year students, transferring students and international students.

International Student Affairs

The International Office provides support and advising regarding the immigration status of international students at Northwestern. The office aims to assist students navigate many of the complexities associated with student and employment based visa classifications at Northwestern.

The International Student Association (ISA) was created in 2008 as a social space for international students, and strives to build a cohesive international community. Visit the website for a taste of their history and events, including Food for Thought events which seek to provoke discussion of global trends and issues, and the International Film and Food Festival.

Multicultural Student Affairs

The mission of Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA) is to provide quality services and programs that support and enhance the collegiate experience, particularly for students of color. They seek to foster a learning environment that enriches the cultural, educational, professional and social lives of students, providing opportunities for holistic development. MSA is also comprised of four different Student Affair groups: African American Student Affairs, Asian/Asian American Student Affairs, Hispanic/Latino Student Affairs, and the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) Resource Center.
