Student Counselors are current third or fourth-year students who work to build and maintain relationships with prospective students and their families. Through their personal experiences, Student Counselors display their pride for the Northwestern community. The position offers a competitive hourly wage and does not require eligibility for Federal work-study funding.
Student Counselor responsibilities
- Assist prospective students through the application process via phone, e-mail, and in-person meetings.
- Welcome prospective students, families, and other guests to the Segal Visitors Center; assist with day-to-day building operations and special projects.
- Present the general undergraduate admission information session to up to 200 visitors, including prospective students, parents, and other visitors.
