We encourage you to review all of our digital programming options below and then click on the events that most interest you. Additionally, our YouTube channel also serves as a comprehensive hub of archived sessions, tours, and special programming.
Led by an admission director and a current student, info sessions provide a comprehensive overview of Northwestern and its undergraduate schools, student and residential life, career and experiential learning opportunities, and the application process. Campus tours feature full-length walking tours of campus filmed with a student tour guide. During both events, students and staff will be available via live chat to answer questions.
Join advisers from Northwestern’s undergraduate schools to learn more about the interdisciplinary academic experience, major and minor opportunities, and student support. These sessions highlight each school's areas of expertise and generally include plenty of time for questions. They may also help you decide which undergraduate school you would like to select during the application process.
Learn more about being a part of our campus community, living in Evanston and exploring Chicago, and preparing for life after graduation through student and alumni panels. Every panel features a different group of student or alumni representatives; some focus on specific areas of interest, identities or careers, and some provide a broader introduction to student life. Join as many as you would like and come with your questions; each panel will leave time to address as many as possible.
Have you already attended an information session or an online student panel, but want to dig deeper into the Northwestern student experience? Sign up for a ’Cat Chat conversation, a one-on-one video or phone conversation with a current Northwestern student that lasts 30–45 minutes.
30-minute alumni conversations are available to students before they apply and are entirely optional—simply another avenue to explore what makes Northwestern special.
When requesting a conversation, students can indicate a preference for meeting with a member of one of our alumni Affinity and Special Interest Groups (ASIGs).
Connections are at the heart of who we are: connections across academic disciplines, connections despite differences, and connections that help us understand the world in new ways. In that spirit, we have brought together a range of Wildcats to help you imagine the connections that you could make.
Our YouTube channel hosts past recordings, including a look at areas like undergraduate research, study abroad, being a pre-medical student, and studying the liberal arts.
